Party Hits

Now that Christmas is done and dusted, the last major event of the year is nearing. I can't believe 2013 is almost finished and in three days, we will say hello to 2014. And to think the world didn't think we'd make it past 2012... Crazy! Since New Years Eve is our last chance to play dress up for the year, I thought I'd post some of my favourite party essentials to make sure you go out with a bang!

1. Sequins

Sequins are a sure fire way to glam up any outfit and is perfect for the holiday season! There isn't such a thing with feeling underdressed in sequins. Even with all the fireworks bursting up in the night sky, no one can take the shine away from you. Boohoo and Tobi have a wide range of sequinned items that are reasonably priced.

2. Velvet

I love this trend because velvet can make you look so feminine, elegant and regal all at the same time. What more can a girl ask for in an outfit? A truly great party outfit, I say! You can look like royalty without breaking the bank with great deals on Tobi and Missguided. 

3. Leather

Leather has been one of the biggest trends this year and it's a great party look because it's so versatile! Although leather falls more under the splurge category, a good leather piece is good value for money because again, it is versatile. When you put on a leather dress, top, skirt or even leggings, wether you style it up or down, it instantly makes you look edgy and sexy.
